Stay Strong!

I've been going through a lot lately, and it's not just one situation, it's situation after situation after situation. Thankfully now I'm starting to realize how to get through it, and I am. The main concept that has stuck out to me the most through all of this is to stay strong. Everything happens for a reason. I've said that before and I'll continue to say that. A really good friend said "stay strong, the storm will pass". That is such a simple yet complex statement. It's easy for us to say to stay strong, but to act upon that is a whole different thing. It helps to have good, strong people in your life to help you through these storms you will experience. I am extremely lucky to have many of these people in my life. They tell me when I'm messing up but help me clean up the pieces. My advice for you is to stay strong. Focus on the good, not the bad of a situation. You can do it!

Compassion

My first question is what happened to the compassion in us? We're so one-minded, and we only do things if we can get something out of it. What happened to doing something for someone just because they needed help? I was watching this clip from the movie Pay It Forward. The kid was talking about how if he helped three people do something they couldn't do, then those three people went and each helped three more people, and so on and so forth. What would happen if we really did that? The world would change. The pain would go away. All we have to do is care.

Just what's on my mind.

Life

Lets start this little adventure of ours with the topic of life. Now, "life" is a very broad subject, but maybe I can touch base on some of my point-of-views on certain things. First of all let me start by talking about my life. I am a christian, simple as that. Almost all of my decisions and opinions are based on my faith. I've been going through a lot lately and the one thing that has stood out to me the most out of all of this is that we have struggles in our life's for a reason. They may not make sense, and most of the time they won't, but there's a purpose behind all thing's. I think we have situations like life, death, hurt, happiness, etc. to make us stronger. In fact, I believe God puts those situations is our life's for the sole purpose of making us stronger. Stronger in our faith and stronger as people. He wouldn't put us through those situations if he didn't know we could overcome them. To put it plain and simple God has a plan for everyone's life. The struggles are just a small part of making that plan happen. My favorite verse is Philippians 4:6-7. I think that verse fits this topic perfectly.
